Here is a quick video to help you install the DISC crime reporting app on your phone and use instant messaging.
PLEASE NOTE: Instant Messaging is just for sharing information in real time. Please still report all incidents through an Incident Report Form on DISC and convert to a Crime Report where needed to make sure Surrey Police have all instances of business crime recorded.
Turning notifications on for the DISC App
If you have downloaded the disc app make sure you have notifications turned on.
When you first download it it should prompt you, but if you did that a while ago and didn’t enable notifications then you may need to turn on in your settings on your phone.
Go to settings
Notifications
Scroll down to DISC
Then turn on notifications there
This is what it the screens look like on an apple phone.
Troubleshooting

2. Download a fresh copy from the App Store / Google Play Store
3. After installing, open Settings on your phone
4. Go to Apps
5. Find the Disc App in the list, and tap it
6. Scroll down to the ‘Storage’ section, and tap that
7. At the bottom of the screen, tap ‘Clear cache’, then tap ‘Clear data’
