Odd jobs
Have you got a nagging odd job that needs doing in your business premises? Do you not have the skills to complete it, or the time, or you don’t know anyone that can do it for you?
Hello Dorking have arranged for local handyman Phil Pleece to do some odd jobs for businesses. You (as the business) will need to provide the materials, Hello Dorking will supply the labour.
How it works
- Complete the form below with the job you need doing.
- We’ll chat to Phil to estimate time and materials and let you know what you need to provide. He may pop round for a site visit first.
- We’ll then confirm the date and rough time Phil will be coming to do the job.
Previous jobs he has completed for BID businesses include replacing an extractor fan, putting up shelves, fitting a keypad lock, fitting a cigarette bin, repairing a sign.

The small print
The purpose of this scheme is to complete small jobs that may take an hour or so to do. It doesn’t include major work like repainting a whole shop front although it can be touch up jobs or specific areas, or anything that requires more than the height of a step ladder. Phil will come and access the work and will advise what is possible, but if the job is too large or too specialised we may have to decline.
We run the scheme 3 or 4 times a year and bunch jobs together, it is not an on demand service.
If no-one is there or the staff on duty don’t know about the work being done when Phil turns up at the agreed time he will not be able to return at a later time and therefore will not be able to complete the work
