DORKING BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC APPOINTMENT

High street rejuvenation expert selected to lead business improvement district operations

22 FEBRUARY 2023: Kathy Kyle of Dorking, Surrey has been selected as Dorking Town Partnership’s new Business Improvement District (BID) Manager. The appointment comes as after an extensive search was conducted by the BID Board of Directors. Kathy is a nationally recognised high street rejuvenation expert and has years of experience in town centre transformation. Reporting to the BID Board, the role of the BID Manager is to lead the operational delivery and day to day activity of the Dorking BID’s business strategy for all businesses and their customers within the BID boundary, thus improving the trading environment within Dorking.

Andrew Fuller, Chairman of the BID said: “Kathy has a successful track record in high street rejuvenation, increasing business resilience, and collaborating with community partners. Kathy and her locally-based team will deliver an impactful, results-driven programme to support the Dorking business community.”

Beccy Gunn, General Manager of the White Horse Hotel said, “I am thrilled Kathy is joining the BID team at a critical time and look forward to collaborating with her to feature the best of what Dorking has to offer.”
