Abbeyfield Wey Valley Society: Supporting Dorking This Christmas and Beyond – Hello Dorking

Dorking is almost ready for this year’s Christmas Festival, with one local charity joining us for the celebrations once again – and they have some exciting milestones ahead.

Run by Abbeyfield Wey Valley Society, Nower House Care Home on the edge of town, is preparing to celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2026. For four decades they’ve been part of our community, offering respite and residential care for older people in a warm and supportive setting.

Christmas in Dorking

The whole family, young and old, can enjoy Christmas in Dorking. From our Christmas Festival on Sunday 30th November to our Christmas Trail, come and enjoy the many unique shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, and events taking place in the town centre this Christmas.
