We are delighted to welcome our new BID Manager – Jo McGowan.
Jo is a passionate supporter of local businesses and has a diverse and experienced background, from being a family events coordinator to running a local business hub in Guildford.
She has helped small businesses grow, thrive, and collaborate, and led the digital transformation for a national charity to maintain vital support through challenging times.
Jo’s most recent role, as Events and Engagement Manager with the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, has included directing large-scale student recruitment events and building links with the local community through the Craft Town network.
A natural networker and strategic thinker, Jo is excited to share her skills with Dorking, focusing on strengthening our business community’s growth and adaptability. She is looking forward to collaborating with all of you to continue building a vibrant and resilient local economy.
Jo will be joining our team on the 23rd September and is looking forward to meeting you all.
