Easter in Dorking
Our beautiful surroundings in Dorking means it is a great place to spend some time this Easter. There are plenty of activities going on in the town, many free, plus many friendly cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops to visit in town, making Dorking the perfect place for family get togethers or to enjoy a leisurely shopping trip.

Hello Dorking are running a FREE Easter Craft Caper on Friday 11th April from 10am – 1pm. Just drop in to the United Reformed Church in West Street to join in and get crafty! You’ll be able to take part in several crafts including:
- Easter Crowns
- Easter Decorations
- Helping us create some VE Day Bunting to display in the town!
There is no need to book, just turn up between 10am and 1pm and get crafting!
The event is designed for ages 2-10 year olds but this is just for guidance. An adult must accompany children at all times.

The Famous Friends of Dorking Easter Trail!
Take part in the free Dorkers’ Eggcellent Easter Hunt from 5–21 April. Entry forms available from SC Fuller, Putty Cakes, Dorking Library or here from 4 April. Look out for the Dorkers handing out trails in town on Saturday 5 April. Prizes to be won! Click here to find out more.
Dorking Library
Dorking Library has a packed schedule of free activities to keep families entertained this Easter holiday. Drop in for Story and Rhyme Times, seasonal craft sessions, a colouring competition, Lego Club and a special visit from the Dogs Trust. Click here to find out more.

Dorking Halls is offering a fun-filled programme for families over the Easter holidays, including a lively Easter pantomime and a variety of family-friendly shows to keep all ages entertained during the school break. Click here to find out all the events at Dorking Hall.
Burgundy and Black Soft Play
Located in St Martin’s Walk, Burgundy & Black Café offers a unique blend of delightful refreshments and a dedicated soft play area for children. Parents can relax with quality coffee and light bites while their little ones enjoy a safe and engaging play environment. The café provides a welcoming space for families to unwind, combining great food and drink with fun for the kids.
Dorking Sports Centre
Dorking Sports Centre is offering a range of activities during the Easter holidays to engage the community. These include Junior Gym sessions for ages 11–17, with set times on weekdays from April 7 to 18. Aqua Splash sessions add inflatable fun to the pool with obstacle courses for families and friends. Dorking Museum
Dorking Museum are holding an Easter Egg Hunt from Sat 5th – Sat 19th April. Look around the museum to find hidden Easter eggs with letters on and collect the clues to solve the puzzle and win a prize! Visit dorkingmuseum.org.uk for details of opening times.
Harts at the Courtyard
Visit Harts at the Courtyard on Tuesday 8th and Thursday 10th April for Easter Biscuit Decorating. £1 per biscuit. This is a parent lead activity.
