Dorking Wanderers FC

Many people visit Dorking for the cycling, the unique shopping, the beautiful walks and countryside, and our incredible food, wine, beer and gin scene.

But what about its incredible football club?

Dorking is also home to Dorking Wanderers, a talented, seemingly unstoppable non-league football team. The Club was established in 1999, and in only 20 years has climbed the non-league pyramid from park football to the National League South, putting them only two steps away from the football league.

The 2018-19 season saw Dorking Wanderers line up in the Bostik Premier League (Step 3), which coincided with the clubs move to Dorking’s newly constructed, multi million pound Meadowbank Stadium development in the heart of our town centre. They have ended this season as league champions, which is incredibly their 11th promotion since forming in 1999. We hope everyone
will join us in congratulating this incredible team on this phenomenal achievement, and provide them with their support.

This weekend Dorking Wanderers travel to Tonbridge Angels before returning home to host Bognor Regis a week later. They will close the season at Meadowbank on Saturday 27th April versus Haringey Borough, when the league trophy will also be presented.

On this #TravelThursday, we are proud to feature and highlight this team’s accomplishments, and invite everyone to take a moment and appreciate the spirit they bring to the town. We are proud of their accomplishments.
