Dorking is a town that has always been known for its creativity so it is not surprising that the town features heavily in the Surrey Artists Open Studios which happens in June each year. Take a look at the studios and work you can view in Dorking in 2026.
Kathy Kyle Studios at Sandrock House
Kathy Kyle was commissioned to design a scarf for the British Museum which she describes as “an absolute honour and pinch me moment!” Inspired by the Tudor Heart, an extraordinary, enamelled gold pendant associated with Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon, Kathy will be sharing her original art and design process during Surrey Artists Open Studios 6-21 June, and the scarf will be exclusively available at the British Museum gift shop this summer.
Kathy will be in her studio space every Thursday and Sunday to welcome visitors during this event and she is also offering a gift card incentive promotion. For more details visit her website.
