Aside from being one of Haydn’s most vivid and popular works packed with dramatic choruses (The Heavens are telling…) and beautiful arias (With verdure clad…) the Festival is delivering a dramatic performance under the baton of Festival Conductor – also BBC Symphony Chorus Director! – Neil Ferris together with Baroque Orchestra Canzona and professional soloists Ellie Laugharne, Jonathan Cooke and Trevor Eliot Bowes.
