Hello Dorking Summer Events

Hello Dorking are running a number of events this Summer to help you enjoy your town centre. We’ve got a Circus day, Craft Workshops with our friends at Dorking Halls, and a Food and Drink Week with a launch day including live music and a food and drink trail. There is something for all the family to enjoy in Dorking this summer.

We’ve pulled together as many events as possible throughout the summer in Dorking in one handy guide. You can download a copy here, pop to SC Fullers in South Street to pick up a copy, or look out for them in shops and cafes throughout the town.

Visit Dorking’s NEW Games Cafe

Open just in time for the summer holidays, Game n Play is all about great games, good music and coffee to match, bringing something fresh and fun to Dorking.

Part games café, part ukulele shop, it’s a place where you can play from a library of 200+ games, pick up a ukulele and chat to like-minded people.

Dorking Library

Dorking Library activities are always great fun and plentiful during the holidays.  They’ve got plenty of craft sessions. LEGO club, Badge making and STEM Club, plus a fab place to browse for your next great read!

Dorking Halls

Dorking Halls have lots on this Summer. For families catch Dinosaur World Live, Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo Tribute Show plus all the family cinema blockbusters. They are also running a performing arts summer school and will have board games and Lego from the 4th – 8th August.

Soft Play at Burgundy and Black dorking

Burgundy & Black Soft Play

Enjoy a hot cup of coffee while your kids burn off some energy in Burgundy & Black’s soft play area. They also do a full cafe menu so why not stay for lunch?

Dorking Sports Centre

Dorking Sports Centre are providing a variety of fun and energising activities for children and families throughout the summer including swimming lessons and family swims, junior gym sessions, soft play and toddlers world sessions.

Dorking Museum

At Dorking Museum history is brought to life through children’s activities and loan boxes, gallery talks, guided walks in Dorking and on the Deepdene Trail, and regular tours of Dorking’s South Street Caves. They also have a special Dinosaur Activity with the Library on 7th August. Full details here.
