Get ready for a Halloween celebration like no other with Creepy Craft Caper, a family-friendly event taking place on Wednesday, 30th October, in the heart of Dorking. From 11am to 3pm, Theodore and Sephone’s Sweet Shop at 2 South Street will be transformed into a spooky Halloween haven filled with fun, frights, and festivities for the whole family.
As part of the half-term activities, children and parents are invited to dive into the Halloween spirit with a variety of crafting activities, face painting, and a spooky photo board to capture the eerie memories of the day. The event promises to be a fun-filled celebration, with something for everyone to enjoy.
In addition to the event, Hello Dorking is promoting the Friends of Dorking Halloween Trail, an exciting exploration of local shop windows where families can spot Halloween characters. Children who find all the hidden characters will be entered into a prize draw, adding an adventurous twist to their Halloween fun.
Creepy Craft Caper is not only a fantastic way to celebrate Halloween but also a wonderful opportunity to engage with the community in a safe and festive environment. The event is free to the public, and there will be free parking available in all Dorking car parks on the day, making it the perfect local celebration for families.
Businesses are also encouraged to get involved and take advantage of the free parking to promote their own Halloween events. If you’re running an event, let us know, and we’ll help spread the word!
