Dorking Annual Events Calendar

For a small town Dorking always seems to have something wonderful going on and Hello Dorking is proud to contribute to the annual events calendar. From Vintage Days to family activities and our famous Christmas Festival we love a celebration.

Festival of Light

Taking place in February this event brings the community together at the darkest time through lantern workshops, a processions and light based installations and entertainment.

Vintage Day

The second Saturday in May sees us celebrate Surrey Day with our very own Vintage Day. The town is alive with music, entertainment, vintage vehicles, markets and lots more.

Food and Drink Day

In September we hold a Food and Drink Day with a show kitchen and food and drink market to showcase the amazing producers and purveyors in the town.

Walking Festival

Our award winning Walking Festival comes to town in September with walks for all abilities, ages and interests.

Halloween

With the Friends of Dorking Spooktacular Trail, Family activities from Hello Dorking and our pubs providing lots of treats for grown-ups, Dorking is the place to be at Halloween.

Christmas Festival

The last Sunday of November kicks off the festive period in Dorking with market stalls along the High Street, entertainment all over town, a funfair and lots of free family activities.
