Every week, we share our weekly round up of what we accomplished at the Dorking BID. Thank you for your support of the BID. When we support our local businesses, we are making an investment in our local community.

Digital Transformation

✅ Pippfest web page development

✅ Met with vendors regarding CRM system 

✅ Negotiated closed loop system for all of Mole Valley, pursuing/exploring grant funding

Placemaking/Events

✅ Supporting Pippfest: website design and development, marketing and PR support, vendors and messaging

✅ Management of ‘A Very Dorkensian Christmas’ – event management coordination with MVDC, Highways, Traffic Management, engagement with businesses and residents, multiple iterations of plans, materials, built website, assets, maps, programme – so much Christmas Festival (multiple updates, iterations, consultation documentation)

✅ Continued extensive Christmas coordination with all parties – coordination with community partners

✅ Continued meetings with Council on Christmas coordination and consultation

✅ Collated and shared music feedback from the weekend

✅ Coordination with team on LoyalFree campaign

✅ Organised gathering products for an event, attended event, networked and promoted Dorking and all businesses. Recruited businesses to join events and engaged with the community. Promoted across social on multiple occasions.

Business Support

✅ Collaboration station with our community to organise the AGM location – thank you Dorking Quakers and Sally Elias!

✅ Sorting training rooms for Autumn programme

✅ Development of agenda for BID Board meeting; coordination and submission of notes to BID Board, collate all documentation

✅ Composed messaging for mailchimps 

✅ Continued Levy Payer support – multiple meetings and engagement
