What’s a guild talk?

We are hosting Dorking BID Guild talks in the hope that we will bring together our wonderful Dorking BID artisans and merchants who oversee the practice of their craft or trade together and share their knowledge with each other. The earliest types of guilds formed as organisations of tradespeople belonging to a professional association. We would like to continue this tradition and share knowledge, friendship and events to highlight all the wonderful goodness Dorking has to offer. Each of our speakers has been selected to align to an issue or event the Dorking BID or high street is facing: community policing, Surrey Day, and BIG GREEN WEEK.

We meet at Ralph James Estate Agents on West Street (44 West St, Dorking RH4 1BU) – all BID Members are welcome! Register your interest with info@dorkingtownpartnership.co.uk.

Each meeting begins with a welcome, talk with our speakers, Q&A, networking opportunity, and refreshments. We can’t wait to welcome you.
