We regret to inform our audience that we must postpone this Dorking BID Guild Talk.
We have learned through our contacts at Surrey County Council are indeed working on the decarbonisation loan programme to help businesses decarbonise (building on the success of the LoCASE grant programme). In addition to the loan, there will also be a linked decarbonisation assessment, training course and carbon calculator.
The programme is available in participating Districts and Boroughs, who are providing funding for revenue costs from their Shared Prosperity Fund. Mole Valley had been invited to join but decided not to, so unfortunately its not currently available in the District. We had also learned from other SCC contacts that Mole Valley businesses could potentially still obtain training, but at other locations. Until we receive clarity, we have decided to postpone the session.
