Spend a weekend in Dorking
Whether the wild outdoors is your thing, professional football (this weekend it’s Wanderers v Maidenhead) or you’d rather peruse some superb modern art (or antiquities), or you’d rather nest down in a microbrewery/historic coffee shop/award-winning restaurant for a few hours, we’ve something to delight all manner of passions here in our beautiful market town of Dorking.
Dorking Summer Safari Trail
The Summer Safari trail will feature a number of locations within the high street. Each location will host a poster with an educational question about African wildlife. As participants journey along the trail, they can use their smartphones to scan the QR codes on each poster and unveil the answers to deepen their knowledge of Africa's creatures.

A Very Dorkensian Christmas
We are inviting our community partners to come together and join us as we plan to fill the high street with twinkling lights, festive market stalls, carol singers and performers, a stationary antique car and bike exhibition, festive music and entertainment, competitions, family friendly entertainment, Father Christmas, and a joyful Christmas parade that showcases our local community talent. It's a 'Very Dorkensian Christmas'!
