Laird Academy of Dance

Laird Academy of Dance proudly took over the Surrey School of Ballet in Dorking in July 2024, building on a strong reputation for excellence established over 30 years of teaching in Banstead and Richmond. Under the leadership of Principal Charlotte, the Academy offers high-quality training in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Acrobatics, with a focus on both examinations and performance opportunities.

Students regularly achieve success in graded exams and enjoy showcasing their talents at competitions and festivals throughout the year. Classes cater for children aged 2 to 18, with a well-established programme of Adult classes also available. Classes are held at The Oddfellows Hall and St Michael’s C of E Infant School
