Here in Dorking, we’re lucky to have a wide array of fantastic restaurants, cafes, shops and businesses offering excellent personal service – and we want to shout about them!
In celebration of those special businesses that call Dorking home, we’re asking you to show your Love for Local and share something positive on your social channels about those local businesses that go the extra mile.
Whether it’s showing brilliant local knowledge, providing the personal touch, or simply offering exceptional service, we want to hear which Dorking businesses stand out to you and why. In return, each month we’ll be choosing three lucky winners to receive a meal in a local Dorking restaurant up to the value of £50 for free!
Entering is easy! Simply share a post to your main grid on Instagram, a post to Facebook or a tweet on Twitter about the special service you’ve received in Dorking and tag us @HelloDorking. We’ll then choose our favourite for that month when submission closes on the last day of the month to decide the winners.

The competition will start on Thursday 1st July 2021 and run until the end of the year. Winners will be announced at the start of the following month. See our Ts and Cs below for further information.

The Ts and Cs
- The winners will be chosen at random and have 24 hours to respond before we reselect another winner.
- Your meal will be received as a voucher for you to use within a Dorking restaurant of your choosing, and you can book your meal at your leisure. Please be aware that the restaurant may have their own Ts & Cs for voucher use, so you must contact them directly for voucher expiration etc.
- The meal is effective as a voucher and cannot be exchanged for money.
- Three vouchers will be given away to three winners each month, from July to December 2021 inclusive.
- Winners will be chosen across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
- The restaurant will be of your choosing and there is no changing or exchange of restaurant choice after decision has been made.
- The value of the restaurant meal voucher will be £50.
- Dorking Town Partnership takes no responsibility for the meal. Each winner must liaise with the restaurant individually should they have specific dietary requirements.
- Any additional charges are to be paid by the recipient and not Dorking Town Partnership.
- This competition is running from Thursday the 1st of July 2021 until Friday the 31st of December 2021.
- Data collected from the competition will be used and processed for the explicit purpose of the competition entry and will not be stored for more than 7 working days from competition closing and your data will not be used for any other purpose.
- You have the right to withdraw from the competition, simply email info@dorkingtownpartnership.co.uk to be withdrawn from the competition within the 24 hour submission period.
