Security
At Hello Dorking, we understand that a strong community thrives on trust. This trust is especially crucial for businesses and visitors, who seek an environment where safety is a given and vigilance is a constant. That’s why we’ve designed an integrated security framework, fortified by collaborative relationships with local authorities, the police and most importantly – our member businesses and community residents.
Our policing and safety WhatsApp group has contributed to connecting businesses and supporting a safer Dorking. If you’re a Dorking business, enquire to join.
Dorking BID Guild Talks
We know that now more than ever we need to work together to keep our town safe and welcoming. We have hosted the Police and Crime Commissioner at our Dorking BID Guild Talk in April and are welcoming the Surrey Police at our next talk in July.

Whilst we will try our best to respond to incidents reported immediately it is not always possible however we assure you that they are reviewed by the Safer Neighbourhood Team who will then collate the information to build a better picture of what is occurring. We will then use this information to target our patrols.
We would also like to introduce our local team who police Dorking Town, which includes:
