Get ready to feel the rhythm, as we bring you exciting news from your Dorking high street! Your Dorking BID is thrilled to announce our line up of Summer events designed to put a spring in your step while you are enjoying our high street.

Communities like ours are magnets for families, artists, active people, art lovers, food lovers, wine lovers, and well, everyone who is looking to discover something new, quirky, independent and unusual. Dorking is an inclusive, fun, creative haven and we welcome you!

You will find activities aplenty to entertain and educate, as well as some incredible outdoor spaces where the young and the young at heart can explore and discover their own treasures within the grounds of sites of real historical significance.

Whether you’re a fan of soulful melodies, electrifying beats, or toe-tapping tunes, we have something for everyone. On Select Music Saturdays in July and August, our vibrant high street will transform into a relaxed and enticing shopping, strolling, enjoyable haven. Talented local musicians and bands will take to our high street, filling the air with their incredible performances. From acoustic sets to energetic jazz ensembles, there will be a diverse range of musical genres to suit all tastes.

How to get to Dorking

Dorking is under an hour from London and the coast with easy access from Gatwick and the M25. It is served by three rail stations: Dorking Station and Dorking Deepdene Station are a 10 minute walk to town from the east and Dorking West is about a 15 minute walk to town.
