After a turbulent year, Boris Johnson gave the go-ahead for England to enter stage two of the roadmap out of lockdown. On Monday the 12th of April, there will be a lift on restrictions facing Dorking’s businesses and you can once again Shop Dorking Support Local.

You can get your haircut
Many of Dorking’s hairdressers and barbers are set to reopen from Monday. Teresa Weller Hair Art is set to reopen along with Sebastian’s Hair. You can go to the gym
You can now go to the gym to workout once again. Anytime Fitness Dorking is open again from Monday with COVID safety measures in place. Dorking Sports Centre is also open and you can use the indoor swimming pool. Studio classes remain unavailable until mid-May where we can hopefully enter stage three of the roadmap out of lockdown.
You can get a tattoo

Non-essential retail is ready to reopen. You can now browse the shops at your leisure. Remember your face mask! You can now finally meet up to 6 people or 2 households in a pub garden for a drink from Monday. Dorking has so many wonderful pubs, The Old House will be reopening from Monday along with The Queens Head and their new beer garden teepee. Dorking’s Michelin starred restaurant Sorrel are offering takeaway suppers and are due to reopen when possible.
