What an incredible success our Christmas Festival was! A massive thank you to all those who were in involved and making this year’s festival such a great success. Christmas has most definitely arrived in Dorking.
With so many wonderful stalls offering shoppers and tourists alike, such wonderful delights, the High Street was buzzing with excitement. Local producers selling warm sausage rolls, washed down with ale from our local Dorking Brewery and The Gin Kitchen and much, much more
Whilst adults and parents were enjoying the Christmas spirit of the festival, children’s faces were full of smiles and laughter, watching Punch and Judy, venturing into Santa’s Grotto and playing on the fairground rides.
With the festival behind us and Christmas officially here, it is with great excitement that we open the Christmas Window Competition.
This competition is a great opportunity to let our imaginations run wild with winter wonderlands and snowy scene. Fiona will be coming around to take photos of your shop windows for our social media platforms, so let’s make Dorking even more festive and sparkly.
The competition opened on Sunday 24th November and will run until Thursday 19th December when voting closes. The winning window extraordinaire will be announced on Friday 20th.
All participating are invited to a wonderful reception at The White Horse from 6pm, where the judges choice and people choice will be announced.
