Meet Khalil one of the newest (and nicest!) faces on Dorking High Street.

He’s just opened Hairro Barbershop with his brother Ahmad, right here in the heart of town, but this isn’t the start of his story.

You might recognise Khalil from Dorking Barbers, or maybe from his brilliant converted van, where he built up such a loyal following that he’s now made the leap to his own bricks-and-mortar barbershop.

And we’re so glad he chose Dorking!

A resident since 2018 (his parents have lived here since 2010), Khalil says he feels like Dorking is his hometown. He’s passionate about our community, proud of the town’s heritage (he’s kept the original windows and double doors of his beautiful shopfront), and always up for supporting local charities and causes.
