Born Free joins all Dorking residents and businesses in celebrating ALL the entries to the Dorking Coronation Community Spirit Awards. The winner of the Sustainability Award will receive a personal letter of congratulations from Born Free along with a gifted adoption pack of KING – the lion rescued from an apartment in Paris where he was being kept illegally as an ‘exotic pet’ in a small, dirty cage. He now lives at our big cat sanctuary in South Africa. Our own story shows just what a difference one person CAN make.
You can also Adopt King and help fund his lifetime care along with helping Born Free rescue, care and support vulnerable lions saved from captivity, campaign against the exploitation of lions and to end trophy and canned hunting practices.
