The Air Cadets is a voluntary organisation for young people aged 12 to 18 years of age. We are affiliated with the Royal Air Force.


We meet twice per week and have a range of activities including flying and gliding (simulator and actual), aviation studies, archery, air rifle shooting, and sports. We also attend air shows, take part in parades, and conduct Duke of Edinburgh.


Older cadets are trained in team leadership and have the opportunity to attend summer camps on RAF stations.


We recruit once per year in September.
