SUMMARY:Town of Culture/Cultural Forum Inaugural Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Dorking has thrown its hat in the ring for Town of Culture 2028.  Our application was submitted by the deadline and now we just wait and see what the outcome is.\n\nSome things that stood out to us as we went through the survey responses and put the application together were: –\n\n\nThere is a lot of cultural activity going on already and there are opportunities to showcase that more\n\n\nThere are some fabulous and ambitious ideas in our community that actually don’t necessarily need a Town of Culture investment to happen.\n\n\nWith the above in mind we don’t want to wait to see whether we get to the next stage or not\, we feel there is value in getting our community together now\, to build links across groups that could potentially help each other\, and to decide how we might progress some of the ideas shared. To see how this can be furthered we are having an inaugural meeting of a Dorking Cultural Forum.\n\nDorking Inaugural Cultural Forum Meeting\nTuesday 30th June 6:15 – 7:45pm\nPippbrook House (behind the Council Offices)\, Reigate Road\, Dorking\nThere will be a welcome drink on arrival\, followed by a short presentation of the Town of Culture survey results and then a chance to share some ideas and decide how we may proceed from here.\n\nWe would love to get as many groups from our community to be represented at this so please do fill out this RSVP form to let us know if you can attend.\n\n\n\n\n \n \n Town of Culture/Cultural Forum\n \n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Group or Business Name(Required)Email(Required)\n \n Mobile PhoneNumber of people attending from your groupI can come to the Town of Culture/ Cultural Forum Meeting on Turesday 30th June at 6:15pm(Required)\n \n Yes\n \n \n No\n \n \n No but please keep me up to date with future meetings and information\n \n Submit
