Join North Downs Way Ambassador Michael Vergien on a free 5-6 hour walk that will take us up to some of the best views that the North Downs Way has to offer. On May the 4th, Michael will lead a circular walk from Dorking, up Box Hill, through Denbies to Ranmore common.
We will learn about the natural and human history of the area including: the geology of the area, pagans, Romans, military, and literary history. As this is a circular walk, we will arrive back in Dorking in time for a late lunch at Dorking’s fantastic The Kings Arms. An email will be sent out at a later date to determine numbers for a reservation. Register for this walk on Eventbrite.
