In 2012, George who has been in the industry for the last 20 years took over the high street dry cleaners. Sadly, there was a massive fire in 2015 where the whole shop burnt down. Undefeated and after lots of hard work and determination, Dorking Alterations was born.
George always sees the positive in every situation, and feels the fire gave him the opportunity to rebrand the dry cleaners to ‘Dorking Alterations’ and start afresh! Our team members Bitte and Reza have over 50 years of alteration experience between them. We have been providing professional alterations and dry-cleaning services for over 20 years, and our experience shows in the quality of work we provide.
We offer a bespoke fitting service and can do alterations and repairs on most garments, which makes us a local favourite! We understand the value that our customers place on their clothing and take every measure to ensure their satisfaction. Our prices are competitive, and our customer service is unmatched.
